Talbot Smith, MD
A Board Certified Family Physician since 2005, Dr. Smith provides comprehensive and preventative healthcare to his patients. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and has two undergraduate degrees: a B.S. in Biological Resources Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park, and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St John's College in Annapolis.
Dr. Smith co-founded Apple Ridge Family Medicine with Dr. Nora Olson, in 2005. The decision to relocate and open Evergreen Adult Medicine was made in 2024 to help lesson his commute and serve other areas. In the past, he worked in urgent care, Emergency Department, and Nursing homes in the area. Dr. Smith is best known for his compassion and understanding to patients needs and environmental issues. He has been dedicated to providing quality medical care to the area for over 20 years.
Dr. Smith chose family medicine for the joy that comes with treating the whole family. His goal is to get to know each patient, taking into account each families’ needs and concerns. With a lifelong interest in learning, Dr. Smith stays up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in family medicine, ensuring his ability to offer the best healthcare possible.
Dr. Smith was born and raised in Maryland. When he isn’t caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys reading a good book or spending time at the beach.

Meagan Weaver, PA-C
Meagan is a Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA) with over 15 years of experience. She earned a B.S. in Molecular Biology from Juniata College, and an M.S. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Prior to joining Evergreen Adult Medicine/Apple Ridge Family Medicine, Meagan was a PA at Glade Valley Family Practice in Walkersville, MD, and at Emmitsburg Physician Care. Before receiving her Physician Assistant certification, she worked as a Senior Lab Technician and Laboratory Coordinator for the Department of Neurology at Johns Hopkins University.
Compassionate and attentive, Meagan naturally develops close relationships with her patients. Meagan chose Family Medicine for the variety of care every day is a unique experience.
In her free time, Meagan likes spending time with her family and dog Millie, camping and traveling. Her favorite hobbies include antiquing, gardening, and playing the piano.
